Verne Morse

The short story has become very popular in recent times as people are living in a world of speed, hastiness and fast moving objects. Along with this craving for quick results comes a lessening of the feeling for culture, for morality and for traditional values. My attempts at writing are prompted by the desire to hold up these values and to make reading more of a family inclusion. This is my aspiration and my intention. This little book is dedicated to my wife, LaVerne, who has been my inspiration to exercise my meager talents into composing in the short story form. It is my hope you enjoy reading this collection as much as I have in writing it.
