Revolution's Child is a significant point of departure from my previous work. My first anthology is replete with poems that are laced with political overtones and complex emotions. Ideas flow with subtlety and build the scope for a melange of possible interpretations. The focus of this book is quite different. Through the eyes of both the underdog and the tyrant, the poems in this particular collection address sociopolitical themes without relying too strongly on obscure images to sugarcoat facts.
Taha Kehar is a fiction writer, poet, freelance journalist and blogger on social affairs who has previously worked as Assistant Editor at a media magazine.
