In writing this book there are many people I would like to thank. I would like to thank our family and friends, for without their love for our son Jarad and input into this book I would be lost. They were a tremendous help in telling the stories published in this book. With their versions of what Jarad was like when we were not around was surprising to us. Jarad was one of a kind. He was someone who cared and expressed his feelings beyond a normal person. He is our Angel who watches over us and guides us throughout each day. We knew there was a Heaven, because of our experience with mediums which solidified any doubt.
We will always miss our son and the hole in our hearts will never go away. We miss the laughter and the wit that Jarad possessed.
He will always remain in our hearts and our prayers. I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart. May God bless all of you. I would like to thank my mother. She is the reason I continue to write this book. There were many times I asked myself, "What are you doing, you don’t know anything about writing." A medium told me, that my mother was the one who kept me going. I also felt Jarad’s presence and credit him with helping me to recall some of these stories that happened thirty-five years ago.
Mediums can and do help me. I could never believe this until I had my own experience with these magnificent souls and their incredible gift. There are special people in this world. Not everybody can be a fireman, or a policeman, or a doctor, or a welder. And definitely, not everybody can tune their lives into the occupation of being a medium.
I would like to thank Susan Pogorzelski for guiding me early on in my writing, for showing me how to edit, how to paint the picture, and to express myself on paper. I also thank Bea, and Tara with their God given talent for being there when we needed them most. I also want to thank two people I’ve never physically seen, but have known in my heart for a long time, since the beginning when I first started to write this book; Linn Conyers of Ohio, who introduced me to Ayin Adams of Hawaii. They both are very uplifting and full of energy. I had met Linn through Katie Mason, Katie was a friend of Jarad’s and Linn did a reading for Katie. It steamed rolled from there. Talking only by phone to Linn and then Ayin, I knew they were very spiritual and motivators.
